When asked where to begin with the interior of this stunning new home in Wānaka, Interior Designer Andrea Marshall pointed to the flooring. It is such a large area of any home, she says. Then that dictates where we go with finishes and colours, and it flows on from there.

For this home, Andrea chose Marchand European oak flooring in Saint-Tropez, a beautiful engineered timber that brings a sense of calm, quality, and cohesion. By anchoring the design in this timeless flooring, she established a natural flow and elevated the overall interior with the refined texture and warm, understated elegance of European oak.
