Grey oak flooring in New Zealand
Lune, La Forêt and Vuitton. A deep smoked grey, a smoked mid-tone with a grey undertone, and a natural base with a soft grey cast that shifts warmer through the day and cooler in the evening.
Grey-toned oak is the usual answer where the palette is already cool: polished concrete, blackened steel, venetian plaster and stone. Smoking the oak before colour is what keeps these greys from reading flat.
